Coach Development Programme

The Coach Development programme is an exciting opportunity that has been designed to develop coaches and players of all levels. The programme can be shaped to meet the needs of the organisation, whether that is upskilling coaches, creating an enjoyable environment, or supporting your volunteers in another way.

There are six core products within this package, ranging from face-to-face workshops with your coaches and their teams, to a mentoring programme with some of the most expert individuals in their field across Kent and the Southeast region.

Simplicity, convenience, and affordability are at the heart of our CPD offer. We understand how challenging developing coaches can be, so we pride ourselves on making the entire process as easy and impactful as possible.

Across the year we will host high quality workshops led by professionals across our hub sites which will have key focus areas for sports coaches of all levels to access, build relationships, learn and network with other like-minded people.
The coaches networking club consists of regular monthly events where coaches access our hubs, share ideas, ask questions and learn collaboratively. Access to an online shared platform of coaching
resources will be available as well as shaping future topic areas for discussion.
Spend time with a high profile expert to hear their stories, observe them delivering a practical based session, ask questions, grab some nibbles and refreshments whilst in the company of an experienced
industry professional.
Offering a mentoring service where a UEFA qualified coach supports a coach on a one-to-one basis. This is focused around a minimum 4-hour support package (can be flexible with number of hours)
working solely with a sports coach supporting their specific needs and focusing on identified areas for improvement using the progressive coaching competency framework platform.

We are delighted to be an approved 1st4sport Centre and offer coaching qualifications to aspiring sports coaches looking to enter the coaching industry!

Sports Connect will be providing 1st4Sport Coaching Qualifications to enable coaches to gain creditable qualifications enabling them to embark on a career in sports based coaching.

We have a team of highly qualified industry relevant, experienced tutors which allows us to offer a professional experience when delivering the 1st4sport coaching qualifications.
